About the position
The Valet Attendant at Residence Inn Berkeley is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services, including parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. This part-time position requires a valid driver's license and involves working primarily outdoors, accommodating guests' needs efficiently and courteously.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly.
- Assist guests with luggage delivery and pick-up during arrival and departure.
- Greet guests within five feet and use their last names during interactions.
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle keys and parking procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- One month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and write in standard English.
- Ability to perform basic math operations.
