About The Position
The Valet Parking Attendant at Tropicana Laughlin plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to guests by managing the parking of vehicles and handling guest baggage. This position requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. The attendant is responsible for greeting guests, providing directions, and ensuring that vehicles are parked safely and securely. The role also involves collecting parking fees when applicable and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parking lot. The Valet Attendant must be vigilant in protecting vehicles from unauthorized access and must be prepared to call security or law enforcement if necessary. This position requires a commitment to providing Family Style Service to all guests and team members, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. In addition to parking and retrieving vehicles, the Valet Attendant must be knowledgeable about company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. The role does not involve supervisory responsibilities, but it does require a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least six months of related experience in a casino environment or a similar setting. A clean driving record and a current state driver's license are mandatory, as is the ability to communicate effectively in English. The Valet Attendant must also possess basic mathematical skills to handle transactions and fees accurately. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is preferred, as it may be necessary for certain administrative tasks.
