About the position

The Validation Engineer - QA Engineer (Performance) III role involves setting up and executing data gathering and performance tests on client and third-party hardware. The position requires a blend of creativity, hardware expertise, programming skills, and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tests in the lab, including development boards and standard bench-top lab equipment.
• Characterize and validate electrical systems in product applications.
• Document, analyze, and communicate test issues and processes.

Requirements

• Experience with hands-on test execution, characterization, and validation of electrical systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering and test automation.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with basic lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
• Ability to run Python scripts.
• Working knowledge of macOS, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Meticulous organizational skills.
• Ability to work with client engineering teams to root-cause failures.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Clients products is an advantage.
