About the position

The Value-Based Purchasing Lead at CenterWell is responsible for implementing clinical quality programs aimed at enhancing the Total Performance Score in Quality Reporting Programs. This role involves educating clinical teams on new regulations and metrics, designing interventions with Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) in mind, and ensuring compliance with CMS Home Health VBP Model. The position requires strategic management of data reporting and ongoing monitoring of quality metrics, while also interfacing with various stakeholders to improve consumer experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement clinical quality programs to drive Total Performance Score in Quality Reporting Programs.
  • Educate clinical teams on new regulations, metrics, and best practices.
  • Interface with the clinical quality team to design interventions with VBP in mind.
  • Strategically manage the integration of CMS Home Health Value-Based Purchasing Model into CenterWell Home Health.
  • Collate data for the Home Health Quality Reporting Program, including monitoring claims-based, HHCAHPS, and OASIS metrics.
  • Regularly monitor regulatory updates impacting VBP, including changes in measures and reimbursement updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Clinical licensure: Nursing & Therapy
  • Home health quality management experience
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including linking pivots to external data sources and creating pivot tables
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for improving consumer experiences
  • Ability to analyze clinical data to identify key drivers of value per CMS VBP model.
