About the position

The Value Creation Manager in the Private Equity Practice at Salesforce is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and enhancing business value for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. This role involves engaging with senior executives, developing strategic business cases, and leveraging AI and data to create impactful customer experiences. The manager will work closely with internal teams to execute value assessments and ensure successful implementation of Salesforce solutions, ultimately aiming to transform how private equity firms create value for their investors.

Responsibilities

  • Engage senior level customer leaders in planned meetings and workshops to establish credibility and demonstrate AI expertise.
  • Develop success criteria and ROI estimates for SWAT team engagements and create Customer Impact PE playbooks post-engagement.
  • Build informed business cases on the value of Salesforce products tailored to portfolio companies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on knowledge and assets to scale AI knowledge at private equity firms and portfolio companies.
  • Create high-quality content and assets that address customer pain points and influence CxOs to adopt Salesforce solutions.
  • Work closely with internal sales teams to define account strategies and prioritize sales initiatives based on value creation potential.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experience, including 2-3 years in IT strategy consulting or management consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior executives.
  • Proficient in developing C-level connections and understanding business dynamics of large enterprises.
  • Experience working internationally with clients and teams.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and build high-level recommendations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or top-tier consulting.
  • BA/BS in business, finance, economics, or related areas; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience dealing with complex governance models in private equity.
