About the position

The Valve Clinic Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of departmental systems and applications. This position involves collaboration with various departments, Information Systems, and vendors to ensure the integrity and interface of systems. The assistant provides clinical support, processes work requests efficiently, and coordinates the ordering and purchasing of necessary equipment and supplies, all while maintaining compliance with State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain departmental systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with other departments, Information Systems, and vendors to ensure system integrity.
  • Provide clinical support as needed.
  • Receive and process work requests in a timely manner to ensure quality customer service.
  • Coordinate the ordering and purchasing of equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain files and data as required by State and Federal Law.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with hospital personnel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and decorum at all times.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
