About the position

As the Stock Assistant Store Manager, you will lead and supervise the stockroom operations, ensuring efficient processing of shipments and maintaining an organized stockroom. You will work under the direction of the Store Manager to execute the company's vision and values, while fostering an inclusive environment and prioritizing customer satisfaction. This role is integral to maximizing store sales and developing the store team into future leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the stockroom, including processing shipments within 24 hours.
  • Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure the efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Ensure inventory integrity through proper shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Motivate stock associates by providing coaching, feedback, training, and supervision.
  • Model selling behaviors and inspire a consumer-centric mindset among the team.
  • Set expectations for stockroom directives, store policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure the store team has the knowledge and skills to meet stockroom goals and operations.
  • Meet and exceed sales results and business goals.
  • Foster an inclusive store environment and create positive internal consumer experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related professional/retail management experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Proven ability to drive results through store teams and meet store goals.
  • Ability to maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong coaching and motivational skills with proven communication abilities.
  • Solution-oriented and flexible.
