About the position

The Variable Compensation Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Variable Compensation team at Gartner. This position is primarily responsible for operations, training documentation (both internal and external), analysis, communications, and process improvement initiatives. The specialist will provide best-in-class support to the Sales organization, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, define, design, and implement training materials for the organization. You will partner with internal stakeholders for content management and publishing, review business processes to identify gaps, and recommend solutions for improving efficiency and service levels. Additionally, you will create project plans and timelines, support the maintenance of process documentation, and track productivity improvements. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating and coordinating meetings, managing updates to Variable Compensation communications and training content on platforms like Inside Gartner and Confluence, and maintaining communication with key stakeholders across the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving change in people, processes, and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Variable Compensation team in operations and training documentation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement training materials.
  • Review business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for efficiency.
  • Create project plans and timelines for various initiatives.
  • Support maintenance of process documentation and productivity improvement tracking.
  • Facilitate and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
  • Manage updates to Variable Compensation communications and training content.
  • Maintain communication with key stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of business experience; preferred 1-2 years in Variable Compensation.
  • 1+ years of writing, advanced formatting, and editing experience for corporate training.
  • Power BI experience developing reporting preferred.
  • Experience using communication software such as Bananatag and mass email solutions preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving change in people, process, and technology.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and prepare complex analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software and project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional listening skills and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management software is desired.
  • Experience in developing training materials for corporate environments.
