About the position

The Variable Operations Development Manager at Leader Automotive Group is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency across dealerships by analyzing sales performance metrics and providing actionable insights to management. This role involves close collaboration with the US Platform Vice President and the Marketing Department to drive improvements in sales processes, customer satisfaction, and overall dealership performance. The manager will focus on increasing vehicle sales and improving the customer experience through effective training and feedback mechanisms.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Platform Vice President and Marketing Partner to drive positive results in turnover reduction and associate productivity improvement.
  • Work individually with GMs and Sales Managers to implement improved process execution and develop sustainable action plans.
  • Conduct store visits to elevate e-commerce business results by leveraging data and sales tools.
  • Build and modify reports and dashboards for sales, marketing, and dealership operations to analyze lead handling and productivity.
  • Ensure the dealership's online presence maximizes lead generation and ROI on advertising.
  • Support lead generation and customer success management projects at the corporate level.
  • Own the flow of lead information through systems accurately and effectively.
  • Implement sales automation features to improve efficiencies for store leaders.
  • Initiate and execute internet sales opportunities, including email/SMS campaigns and marketing automation.
  • Coach and mentor store leadership to align with Leader Automotive's core values.

Requirements

  • Preferred minimum of 5 years automotive experience, with 2 years in Internet or Sales Management.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history for travel to dealerships.
  • Experience using dealership CRM and 3rd party lead software (e.g., VIN Solutions, ADP/CDK, Salesforce).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for report creation and data analysis.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with all organizational levels regarding data and results.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts to maximize dealership ROI.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in internet sales management or business development management.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce strategies and tools.
