About the position

The Vascular Graft Production Manager will lead a manufacturing team responsible for producing vascular graft products. This role involves overseeing team performance, staffing, and resource allocation to meet production goals while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across various support functions within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead area and team to ensure metrics and goals are achieved
  • Responsible for the performance management and development of the team
  • Coordinate and execute resourcing plan as it relates to staffing, equipment and other resources to effectively meet business need
  • Review and execute the financial forecast according to plan
  • Execute consistent processes to deliver products that meet customers' quality expectations and legal requirements
  • Ensure all environmental health and safety requirements are met in area of responsibility
  • Establish and promote a continuous improvement environment with the team and ensures the application of lean principles
  • Foster strong partnerships with all manufacturing support functions, including engineering, planning, QA, EH&S, Regulatory, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years operational leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing others with the ability to positively influence and effectively lead individuals and teams through change
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices
  • Experience generating and analyzing metrics and effectively communicating information locally, broadly and cross-functionally
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data to develop, execute, and drive projects to completion
  • Experience establishing expectations and holding others accountable, with the ability to address performance issues fairly, directly and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability in applying lean principles in day-to-day operations and continuous improvement activities
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and pivot in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to learn and navigate a quality system and enforce manufacturing procedures in a regulated environment
  • Ability to be pro-active, identify and drive change, and develop and align strategy with business need
  • Ability to periodically work in a cleanroom environment with the flexibility to modify working hours to meet specific commitments and travel up to 10% of the time

  • BS in Business, Technical, Supply Chain or Operations Management
  • Experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
