About the position

The position is for a full-time Vascular Surgeon who will play a key role in resident education and clinical practice within the Department of Surgery. The surgeon will be involved in both inpatient and outpatient services, covering elective, urgent, and emergent care for vascular patients, while also serving as a faculty member and providing on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery.
  • Provide traditional inpatient and outpatient services for vascular patients.
  • Teach and supervise resident rotators in surgery.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for vascular surgery cases.
  • Conduct open vascular surgery, endovascular interventions, and vein ablations.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
  • Arizona License.
  • Strong interest in post-graduate education.
  • Previous faculty experience in an academic environment is preferred.
  • Extensive training and experience may satisfy board requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a clinical-based vascular surgery setting.
