About The Position

The Vascular Technologist Days position at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital involves conducting and documenting vascular assessments on patients. The role emphasizes patient care, compassion, and effective communication with both patients and healthcare team members. The technologist will work closely with the Medical Director for Cardiovascular Services and is responsible for producing quality diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by Radiologists.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or RDMS OB/GYN Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document vascular assessments on patients as ordered.
• Produce quality, diagnostic radiographs for Radiologist interpretation.
• Demonstrate concern and empathy while performing procedures.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely according to established procedures.
• Maintain proactive communication with patients and physicians regarding findings and test results.
• Collaborate with colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
