About the position

The VDC Training Lead is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team. This role involves collaboration with project teams to assess skill levels, identify training needs, and develop training materials that align with industry standards. The successful candidate will also mentor team members and track the effectiveness of training programs to ensure continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that cover all VDC processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with project teams and management to assess skill levels and identify training needs and gaps.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, ensuring they are updated with the latest industry standards and software updates.
  • Design and manage structured training programs for the VDC team, ensuring alignment with department goals.
  • Collaborate with the VDC Supervisor to provide tailored training as required by specific projects.
  • Track the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in VDC/BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Evolve, etc.)
  • Experience with Revit, BIM, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and BIM 360.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in VDC/BIM Manager, with a focus on training and development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree or certifications in VDC/BIM is a plus.
