About the position

The Vectra AI Solutions Engineer/Architect for Technology and Cloud Alliances plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Vectra AI's advanced security capabilities and its Tech Alliance Partners. This position involves collaborating with various teams to create integrated solutions that address customer cyber-defense challenges, leveraging technical creativity and strong communication skills to articulate these solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Vectra's VP of Cloud and Tech Alliances to identify technology integrations that address customer cyber-defense goals.
  • Explain Vectra's products and their integration with partner products during initial meetings with tech alliance partners.
  • Ensure alignment of Tech Alliance Partner product roadmaps with Vectra AI's product capabilities.
  • Implement technology integrations in a timely manner to maximize value for mutual customers.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of security product categories such as EDR, CDR, NDR, Identity Threat Detection and Response, SIEM, and SSE.
  • Familiarity with Security Operation Center (SOC) tools and processes, including Gartner's 'SOC Triad'.
  • Proven ability to envision and articulate integrated solutions for real-time threat detection across various platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting technology integration proposals.
  • Strong understanding of attacker progression and incident response methodologies.
  • Ability to maintain in-depth knowledge of Vectra's product line and industry trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a Cybersecurity Technical Account Management, Security Architect, or Security Systems Engineering role for 5+ years.
  • Startup experience with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with tech alliance partners.
