About the position

The Veeva Solution Lead at Astellas is a pivotal role responsible for driving digital initiatives within the agile organization, focusing on maximizing value delivery through effective collaboration and innovation. This position involves leading a team in the Veeva Vault R&D area, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and advocating for agile methodologies to enhance team efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Significant expertise in end-to-end business processes and Enterprise solutions that digitally empower and transform business processes.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize features and user stories that align with business goals and deliver maximum value.
• Encourage and lead innovative approaches and solutions within the specific area of expertise.
• Champion agile methodologies within the organization, promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to agile principles.
• Act as the primary liaison between agile teams and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align agile team efforts with long-term business objectives.
• Lead retrospectives and other continuous improvement efforts to analyze team processes and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality.
• Proactively identify and address risks that could impact the delivery of value, developing mitigation strategies with teams and stakeholders.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to value delivery, team performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration.
• Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Clinical/Regulatory Affairs operations and business processes.
• Proven experience in specific end-to-end business processes and Enterprise Platform Solutions that digitally enable business processes.
• Excellent project management abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with business to define Epics/user stories/features and conducting impact analysis.
• Ability to present technical solutions based on business requirements of the Veeva system.
• Support technical upgrades and conduct technical impact assessments.

Nice-to-haves

• 3-5 years demonstrated experience with Veeva Vault Clinical/Regulatory.
• Adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
