Sterling McCall Chevrolet, a part of the rapidly growing Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in sourcing quality pre-owned vehicles from various channels, including private parties and our internal customer list. As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with our used car department, ensuring that we acquire the best vehicles available to meet our customers' needs. In this position, you will be responsible for contacting customers through phone and email to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction. You will develop a robust pipeline of sales and business opportunities by networking, generating referrals, and setting appointments. Collaborating with sales management, you will execute effective buy-back strategies and stay informed about current auto consumer trends and industry developments. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing vehicles and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service. We are looking for someone who is not only driven and competitive but also possesses excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to follow through on leads and maintain relationships with customers is essential. Responsibilities

  • Contact customers (phone, email) to maintain and improve customer loyalty and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a pipeline of sales and business opportunity leads through networking, referrals, and set appointments.
  • Work with sales management on executing best buy-back opportunities and strategies.
  • Research and stay current in auto consumer and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Dealership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.

  • Solid working knowledge of the Internet.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
