About the position

The Vehicle Hardware Validation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of vehicle hardware through rigorous validation processes. This role involves managing various aspects of hardware validation, including cost analysis, fixture builds, requirements management, and testing coordination with suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Conducting cost analysis using the Vehicle Hardware DVP Cost Tool.
• Managing fixture builds and tracking for Vehicle Hardware DVPs.
• Overseeing JAMA requirements management.
• Handling Jira Full Service Supplier (FSS) and Build To Print (BTP) testing management.
• Managing part shipment activities between vendors and test houses.
• Coordinating with DREs on installation and setup instructions.

Requirements

• Experience in vehicle hardware validation processes.
• Proficiency in using cost analysis tools, specifically the Vehicle Hardware DVP Cost Tool.
• Familiarity with JAMA for requirements management.
• Experience with Jira for testing management.
• Strong organizational skills for managing part shipments and vendor coordination.
