About the position

As a Vehicle Integration Engineer at Ford Motor Company, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative engineering solutions that enable integrated vehicle systems. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing, to ensure that the vehicle systems are not only efficient but also align with key styling themes. You will be responsible for developing and prototyping concepts that enhance product cost, mass efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and overall user experience. In this role, you will drive cross-functional product architecture trades between various vehicle subsystems such as interiors, closures, chassis, thermal, powertrain, and electrical distribution. Your expertise will be essential in determining the product direction and ensuring that all systems work harmoniously together. You will also identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems using first principles and concept 3D modeling. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build the necessary physical properties for vehicle systems. Your ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment will be critical to your success in this role.
