About the position

The Vehicle Operations Specialist at Formel D USA plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of vehicle management at physical locations. This position is responsible for overseeing vehicle workflows, ensuring the maintenance of charging stations, conducting quality checks, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment, contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lot activities, ensuring safe and usable drivelines while managing vehicle workflows.
• Ensure charging stations are properly maintained and ready for scheduled customer use.
• Complete final quality checks on vehicles, create service orders, and provide feedback to service teams.
• Support vehicle wash, detailing, and paint correction activities to meet product standards.
• Ensure proper handling of dealer jackets, including validating, scanning, and filing completed paperwork.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory, and proactively manage supply levels.
• Conduct various audits, including security, inventory, and asset location checks.
• Work closely with both on-site and remote teams to ensure smooth operations and communicate roadblocks.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and seek customer-centric solutions.
• Safely transport vehicles between locations and during various weather conditions.
• Perform additional tasks as required to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in operations, logistics, or lot management.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with software systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous EV or vehicle detailing experience is a plus.
