About the position
The Vending Route Driver is responsible for managing a designated territory, visiting an average of 25 stops per day to fill vending machines, collect payments, and maintain inventory. This role requires effective communication with customers and the ability to execute daily sales strategies while ensuring the truck is loaded and maintained properly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain designated territory and visit an average of 25 stops per day.
- Fill vending machines and remove out-of-date products.
- Collect money, create sales tickets, and invoices.
- Execute daily sales call list and maximize trade execution in each account.
- Maintain and load trucks for daily operations.
- Interact and communicate effectively with customers.
- Perform extra duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 points.
- DOT Card preferred.
- Ability to lift between 25-45 pounds.
- Ability to push between 40-100 pounds.
- Previous truck driving experience preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year of driving experience required.
