About the position

The Vendor Account Manager at Mancuso is responsible for managing and developing vendor and customer relationships, ensuring alignment with the sales team's initiatives. This role involves overseeing the Vendor Account Administrator and requires a thorough understanding of vendor expectations and processes. The position emphasizes proactive communication, effective time management, and the ability to respond to service issues promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop assigned vendor/customer relationships.
  • Coordinate yearly vendor review and planning meetings.
  • Understand and communicate vendor expectations, including budget and volume.
  • Oversee trade and budget management through planning and execution.
  • Coordinate efforts with the Sales Team.
  • Manage vendor annual sales cycles, including advertising and holiday schedules.
  • Handle cost change management.

Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Account management experience.
  • Experience with an ERP or TMS system preferred.
