About the position

The Vendor Finance C&I Southwest Territory Sales Manager at PNC is responsible for driving sales activities related to credit-based leasing products and cross-selling bank products/services. This remote position requires a strategic approach to sales, focusing on the Construction and Industrial equipment finance segment. The role involves developing relationships with key vendors, executing sales strategies, and managing risk associated with financing opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sales activities for credit-based leasing products and cross-sell bank products/services.
  • Develop a network of relationships with key vendor personnel to grow sales and market share.
  • Drive sales strategy execution to maximize financing opportunities under assigned vendor programs.
  • Handle origination, screening, quoting, negotiation, and documentation of lease products and services.
  • Ensure service level agreement performance metrics are achieved.
  • Perform complex transaction structuring and financial analysis to assess lease financing opportunities.
  • Manage risk/return and identify/mitigate various types of risks for new clients.
  • Coordinate financing request submission, credit underwriting, loan documentation, and transaction closing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of territory sales experience in the Construction and Industrial equipment finance segment.
  • Strategic and tenacious sales approach preferred.
  • Credit background is a bonus.
  • University/college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in collateral management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment in financial services.
