About the position
The Vendor Management Analyst I is responsible for managing the Procurement Lifecycle for IT purchase requests at UK HealthCare. This role involves utilizing the UK Purchasing System to track maintenance agreement renewals, purchase orders, and payment information, while also resolving issues and maintaining vendor contracts. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and it offers a hybrid work environment combining on-site and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Procurement Lifecycle for IT purchase requests.
- Utilize the UK Purchasing System to track and process maintenance agreement renewals.
- Track purchase order release, goods receipt, and payment information.
- Identify and resolve issues in collaboration with various departments.
- Answer inquiries regarding order status.
- Maintain IT vendor contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Develop continuous service improvement and process knowledge articles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1 year of related experience in IT procurement or vendor management.
- Knowledge of SAP or a related procurement system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Time management skills.
