About the position

The Vendor Management Analyst at 1st United Credit Union serves as the centralized subject matter expert for vendor management, ensuring the safety and soundness of vendor onboarding and periodic reviews. This role involves applying strategic understanding of vendor policies and procedures, streamlining vendor acquisition processes, and monitoring vendor performance to support the credit union's operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leads in the acquisition and review of new and existing vendors and addresses third-party contracts, service agreements, subscriptions, and amendments.
• Utilizes governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools to manage vendor contract execution and performance management.
• Monitors third-party vendor performance and escalates issues to Vendor Owners as necessary.
• Provides support to Vendor Owners for contract negotiations and acts as an intermediary with Legal for contract reviews.
• Assists the Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management with annual vendor reports and updates policies based on regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications recognized in the industry.
• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong data analysis skills and an analytical mindset.
