About the position

The Vendor Management Analyst will oversee the vendor onboarding and renewal process, ensuring compliance and risk management across vendor relationships. This role involves developing policies, conducting due diligence, and maintaining vendor databases while also serving as backup for the Business Continuity Plan Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the vendor onboarding and renewal process by developing the process and obtaining necessary documents.
  • Conduct risk ratings of vendor relationships and maintain vendor software.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and risk assessments for vendor management.
  • Maintain and monitor the third-party vendor database, including contract renewals and risk ratings.
  • Conduct ongoing vendor due diligence reviews, including contract details, financials, and security standards.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new vendors, including due diligence document gathering and legal reviews.
  • Regularly communicate with all business units regarding vendor management matters.
  • Provide training as needed and develop documentation for complex subjects.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of contract details are maintained.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and compliance assistance for new products and services.
  • Assist with Internal Audit reviews as needed.
  • Maintain familiarity with compliance requirements of federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or comparable work experience.
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of critical business processes, products, and services within a financial institution.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, administrative, and computing skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Capable of developing strong cooperative inter-departmental partnerships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Vendor Management Certification, CRVPM or similar.
  • 3 - 5 years of program/project management skills.
