About the position
The Vendor Management Analyst at Educational Employees Credit Union is responsible for ensuring compliance with risk management standards by managing vendor relationships and coordinating risk assessments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a comprehensive vendor database and supporting the organization's Business Continuity Management program.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive vendor management program.
- Assist in developing and maintaining vendor management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate risk assessments to identify and mitigate vendor-related vulnerabilities.
- Support vendor owners in conducting due diligence assessments.
- Gather and maintain data on vendor performance and service levels.
- Serve as an internal resource for vendor management questions and training.
- Provide administrative support for vendor audits and examinations.
- Support the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in vendor management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance standards preferred but not required
Nice-to-haves
- Vendor management experience preferred
