About the position

The Vendor Master Data Team Lead at AAR Corp. is responsible for overseeing governance, process improvements, and problem resolution related to vendor master data across all ERP systems. This role ensures compliance with vendor setup policies, supports the Vendor Master Data Specialist, and manages timely processing of vendor requests while adhering to internal guidelines and business policies.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal audit, manager, and directors to update policy.
• Provide leadership for daily support and ongoing operation of the systems used globally.
• Receive and process vendor requests from business units.
• Develop and publish SLA for vendor master data requests.
• Monitor and follow-up to meet Service Level Agreements.
• Assist in improving validation and quality reviews.
• Provide training support for the Vendor Master Group.
• Maintain internal controls for vendor setup/maintenance.
• Notify business units of added and/or deleted vendors.
• Provide input and recommendations for training improvements.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of related experience with vendor master data.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy.
• Understanding of data management principles and best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills.
• At least 2-3 years of experience with master data setup.
