About the position

The Vendor Operations Management Coordinator is responsible for managing relationships with multiple vendors that support Elevance Health's clinics. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with vendor agreements, monitoring quality, and developing corrective action plans as necessary. The position involves collaboration with various teams to implement and enhance vendor services across advanced primary care clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of vendor agreements to ensure compliance and monitor quality.
  • Resolve issues with business and vendor relationships.
  • Support the vendor management team in performing Readiness Assessments for new or enhanced vendor products.
  • Manage Purchase Orders for each vendor to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Track and monitor vendor spending and generate spend reports as needed.
  • Maintain all vendor profiles and document SOPs and process flows.
  • Track results of data file exchanges, billing files, and SLA reports.
  • Monitor industry and vendor-specific news and business updates.
  • Maintain the SharePoint site for the department.
  • Partner with IT regarding internal requirements and vendor interactions.
  • Create, review, and approve vendor access to company systems.
  • Review vendor reports and comments based on SOX control requirements.
  • Participate in negotiations of agreements and lead cross-functional teams to implement vendor services.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional level contract management or vendor management experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related major preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience with vendor management software highly preferred.
  • Process improvement experience preferred.
