About the position

The Vendor Privacy and Strategic Planning Analyst at Comcast is responsible for the administration and coordination of various employee benefit plans, including 401k, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), disability, and medical plans. This role involves collaborating with Plan Administrators, Human Resources, Corporate, and Payroll to resolve issues related to employee benefits. The analyst will assist in advising supervisors and HR managers on facilitating the process for employees returning to work after an absence, ensuring a smooth transition back into the workplace. Additionally, the analyst serves as a point of contact for benefits-related questions and concerns, providing guidance and support to employees regarding their eligibility for various insurance options. In this position, the analyst will maintain benefit records and prepare necessary documents for implementing benefit coverage. Timeliness and accuracy in paperwork and payroll processing are crucial to minimize delays in payments. The analyst will also coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process, ensuring that employees are informed and able to make their selections in a timely manner. Regular attendance is expected, with the possibility of working nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary. Responsibilities

  • Consults with and advises employees on eligibility for various insurance options.
  • Reviews and interprets Summary Plan Descriptions and provides guidance on issues.
  • Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage.
  • Ensures paperwork and payroll processing is completed in a timely and accurate manner to reduce delays in payments.
  • Coordinates and serves as a resource for the annual Open Enrollment process.
  • Provides support for health and wellness programs.
  • Acts as a point of contact for benefits-related questions and concerns.
  • Assists in advising supervisors and HR managers on facilitating employee returns after absences.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 2-5 years of relative work experience in benefits administration or a related field.
