About the position

As a Vendor Quality Analyst at Selux Corporation, you will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials and finished products meet established quality standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your role is crucial in maintaining quality control processes throughout the production cycle. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with various stakeholders to uphold quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to determine specifications and communicate with vendors to ensure part specifications are met.
  • Evaluate the quality management systems of suppliers and assess their capability to meet quality standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing inspection findings, vendor evaluations, and quality performance metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate quality incidents, defects, and deviations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of initial parts and production samples to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, vendor communications, and quality audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
