About the position

The Chief of Staff at Sidekick is a pivotal role that provides comprehensive support to the investment team in various aspects of venture capital, including market research, investment pipeline management, and portfolio company monitoring. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with all facets of venture capital operations while working closely with the investment team and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Assist investment team with market research, channel checks, competitive analyses, founder references, and other due diligence.
• Help manage the investment pipeline, including preparing and sending a weekly deal pipeline summary.
• Help prepare materials for internal team meetings and external investor updates.
• Maintain internal databases, including portfolio company valuations.
• Help monitor existing portfolio companies, including interaction with founders.
• Manage a wide variety of ad hoc projects.
