About the position

The Venture Capital Finance/Fund Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial operations within a leading investment firm based in San Francisco, specializing in cryptocurrency and blockchain. Responsibilities

• Handle monthly NAV calculations and reporting
• Spearhead the annual audit process and manage fund financial reports
• Ensure adherence to financial guidelines through regular compliance reviews
• Oversee daily transactions and crucial portfolio performance metrics
• Lead and participate in quarterly valuation meetings
• Assess fair value in collaboration with portfolio companies
• Maintain FACTA and CRS compliance for fund administrators
• Strengthen investor relations via effective communication and reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years' fund accounting experience, ideally in private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds
• Experience in public and/or private industries is preferred
• Relevant Bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication skills, and a detail-focused approach.
