About the position

The Venue and Event Worker position at PeopleReady involves assisting with the setup and teardown of events, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively under the guidance of an event manager. This role offers flexibility with both long-term and short-term job opportunities, allowing workers to choose their preferred work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site setup while working under the mentorship of the event manager
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Unload trucks and place equipment in staging areas for assembly
• Build tents, set up pipe and drape configurations for trade show booths, and arrange tables and chairs
• Help with the teardown of events, take inventory of all items, and pack them for easy use at the next event

Requirements

• Experience in event work or a similar fast-paced industry is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment
• Capable of remaining in a stationary position for extended periods
