About the position

PeopleReady of Memphis, TN is now hiring Venue Event Workers! As a Venue Event Worker, you will play a crucial role in the setup and takedown of events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work under the mentorship of the event manager, assisting with site setup and taking pride in delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks and organizing equipment in staging areas, building tents, and setting up the necessary configurations for trade show booths, including tables and chairs. Additionally, you will assist with the dismantling of events, taking inventory of all items, and packing them for easy access at future events. This position offers the flexibility to work where you want, when you want, and as often as you want, with the potential for next-day pay for many of our open positions. Responsibilities

• Assisting with site setup under the mentorship of the event manager.
• Providing excellent customer service and taking pride in the details.

• Assisting with the takedown of events, taking inventory of all items, and packing them for future use.

Requirements

• Experience working with events or in a fast-paced industry preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
• Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Background check and drug screening required.
