About the position

As a Venue Representative for MESMERICA at the Evergreen Theater & Event Center, you will play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable experience for our audience. This part-time position requires you to be the face of our company, acting as an ambassador to both the venue staff and the attendees. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and taking down the lobby area, which involves managing signage, the check-in table, and merchandise displays. You will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them and ensuring a smooth check-in process while addressing any questions they may have. Your role is vital in facilitating the overall event, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience from start to finish. In addition to guest interactions, you will be responsible for managing merchandise inventory and sales, which requires attention to detail and a knack for customer service. Communication is key in this role, as you will need to maintain timely and effective communication with our Venue Operations team. We are looking for individuals who are not only tech-savvy but also possess a positive and upbeat personality, as this will enhance the overall atmosphere of the event. The MESMERICA shows are designed to evoke joy and relaxation, and your contribution will be essential in achieving that goal. The shows will run at the planetarium as long as there is demand, and we are currently scheduling performances on Fridays and Saturdays. Your availability on these days is crucial, as we want to ensure that our team is well-staffed and prepared for each event. Responsibilities

  • Setting up and taking down the lobby setup including signage, check-in table, and merchandise.
  • Welcoming and checking in audiences, answering guests' questions.

  • Offering suggestions or comments on how to improve the event.
