As a Design Verification Development Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how the world uses information through innovative memory and storage solutions. In this position, you will collaborate with a talented design team to harness cutting-edge technologies in the development of advanced DRAM and emerging memory products. Your work will involve tackling the complexities of verifying high-density memory chips that feature ultra-high speed, intricate functionality, and advanced power management technologies. You will be responsible for scrutinizing full chip or block level functionality and devising solutions to ensure the delivery of functionally accurate designs. This role requires close collaboration with Micron's global design and verification teams, where you will apply various verification tools and techniques, providing verification status and summaries for specific designs. Together, we will conquer design projects and push the boundaries of memory technology.

Responsibilities

  • Using advanced verification languages and techniques to build a cutting-edge verification platform.
  • Participating in creating full chip behavior models that are distributed to Micron's worldwide external customers.
  • Building a verification plan that incorporates directed and random patterns covering all features of a memory design.
  • Performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators.
  • Contributing to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success.
  • Driving innovation into future memory generations within a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • Fluency in verification languages (System Verilog) and methodologies (UVM).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design.
  • Ability to abstract complex technical details into an easy-to-understand interface.
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in using scripting languages to automate tasks.
  • Experience defining coverage strategy and writing coverage models.
  • Previous work experience in ASIC or memory verification.
  • Good understanding of CMOS circuit design.
  • A self-motivated, phenomenal teammate who enjoys working with others.
  • Highly effective, strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent analytical, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with wide-ranging demands.
