About the position
The Verizon Call Center Sales Agent position is a full-time role based in Henderson, NV, focused on selling telecom, data, cable, cellular, and internet products and services to business consumers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a goal-oriented mindset, with the opportunity to earn a base pay plus commission. This role offers a dynamic work environment with potential for advancement and uncapped earnings.
Responsibilities
- Effectively offer and enroll consumers and businesses on telecom, data, cable, cellular or internet products and services.
- Qualify potential customers by using sales techniques, overcoming objections and presenting solutions that fit the consumer's needs.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge in order to effectively address consumer questions about products and services.
- Handle any data entry or database update to ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollments/orders.
- Work simultaneously with multiple computer applications and databases.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- Must have at least 6 months call center experience.
- Must have sales experience.
- Ability to overcome objections, develop a strong sales pitch and effectively close sales.
- Must be comfortable talking on the phone and have the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Must effectively work independently as well as with others.
- Must pass a background check.
