About the position

The Verizon Campus program offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in meaningful work and projects that have a tangible business impact. This 10-week internship allows participants to work closely with marketing and product leaders in the Consumer Marketing and Strategy Organizations, contributing to high-impact projects while gaining valuable industry experience. Interns will develop their skills in various areas, including 5G program launches, segmentation marketing, device and product marketing, and marketing operations, all while networking with professionals and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in meaningful work and real-life projects within the Consumer Marketing and Strategy Organizations.
  • Assist in launching and executing new Home and Mobile programs related to 5G.
  • Analyze overall Mobile Performance Management and explore Broadband Offer Expansion.
  • Conduct segmentation marketing analysis to create new value propositions and pricing plans for Prepaid and Consumer Loyalty Programs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of next-generation product solutions that enhance consumer experiences.
  • Support Verizon's content business through projects involving content partnerships and digital content deals.
  • Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to design and execute new solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analyses on emerging trends and potential market disruptions.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Marketing, Entertainment and Media Technology, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, Strategy, or a related field, with an expected completion date between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Project experience and/or coursework in marketing, strategy, data analytics, media, design, finance, consulting, product management, or product development.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
  • Willingness to work in Basking Ridge, NJ, New York City, NY, Alpharetta, GA, or Irving, TX.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in competitive analysis, customer requirements analytics/management, and product management.
  • Knowledge of consumer, enterprise, or telecom products and market.
  • Strong leadership, presentation, and technical skills.
