About the position

The Verizon Sales Representative at The One Percent Inc. is responsible for managing client account relationships and driving business development in the Southern Maryland and DC area. This role focuses on executing direct sales campaigns, enhancing customer satisfaction, and promoting Verizon's products and services to potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Execute direct sales campaigns and connect with prospective accounts using a lead list provided by Verizon.
  • Increase company revenue by reaching out directly to potential customers daily.
  • Negotiate and manage customer contracts based on individual consumer issues and complaints.
  • Follow up with accounts over time to ensure they remain satisfied and install services.
  • Drive client value by educating and promoting new products and services.
  • Process sales orders and suggest possible upsells based on customer needs.
  • Communicate with upper-level management to ensure all basic account requirements are met.
  • Assist other Verizon Sales Representatives in tracking sales activity and trends through shared marketing materials.
  • Develop and implement highly successful customer solutions that improve relationships with direct customers and the company.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, or sales.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with team members.
  • Ability to simplify complex information to increase customer engagement.
  • Self-motivated and prioritize developing leadership skills.
