About the position
The Verizon Sales Trainee position is an entry-level role focused on planning and executing promotional marketing and sales campaigns to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. The role involves direct interaction with customers to understand their wireless needs and provide tailored product recommendations, while also receiving comprehensive training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with homeowners to understand their wireless needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Work alongside the Verizon Sales Manager to plan and execute promotional marketing and sales campaigns.
- Draft and review sales contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and customer satisfaction.
- Track KPI's and campaign metrics to ensure sales and customer engagement targets are being met or exceeded.
- Regularly attend meetings to discuss market trends, new product and service launches, and promotions being offered by Verizon.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to overturn objections in a professional manner.
- Desire to learn new skill sets and develop professionally.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Passionate about / interested in learning about the wireless industry is a plus!
