About The Position
The Vertical Account Executive (VAE) at Veritiv is responsible for targeting, acquiring, and closing high-value revenue opportunities within the Food Production Vertical, specifically focusing on local and regional Food Companies and Contract Manufacturers. This role requires a proactive 'hunter' approach to develop relationships with key decision-makers in Packaging, Operations, and Procurement, aligning with the Veritiv Direct Food Contact strategy. Once opportunities are secured, the VAE will transition the management of these relationships to the Sales and Program Management teams.
