About the position

The Healthcare Vertical Market Sales Manager at Spacesaver is responsible for driving revenue growth and new business development through partnerships with Area Contractors and Distributors. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to achieve vertical market sales objectives, utilizing market research, mentoring contractors, and securing product specifications from end users. The position also includes identifying product gaps, strategizing with product development, and managing customer relationships through CRM technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and new business development through Area Contractor/Distributor partners.
  • Partner with the sales team to achieve vertical market sales objectives.
  • Conduct market research and insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Mentor and develop focused Area Contractors/Distributors.
  • Secure product specifications from vertical market end users.
  • Identify product gaps and opportunities within the higher education market.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to bring new products to market.
  • Propose, plan, and attend trade shows.
  • Utilize CRM technology to manage customer contacts and projects.
  • Represent Spacesaver's products and services in client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of sales and/or sales leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Spacesaver's vertical markets and product offerings.
  • Ability to succeed in a manufacturer-distributor environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong customer focus.
