About the position

The Vertical Marketing Manager at U.S. Cellular is responsible for implementing marketing strategies and conducting analysis within the Public Sector verticals, including Education, Public Safety, and other State and Local Government departments. This role involves in-depth research on industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes, as well as developing tailored marketing strategies that align with overall business goals. The manager will lead the creation of vertical-specific content and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Implement marketing strategies within the Public Sector verticals.
• Conduct in-depth research on industry-specific trends and customer behaviors.
• Analyze data related to market conditions and sales trends.
• Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for specific verticals.
• Lead the development of vertical-specific content such as sales materials and marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using metrics and KPIs.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, product development, and other marketing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Market Development in a B2B environment.
• 5+ years of experience working closely with demand generation marketing, product marketing, and sales teams.
• Deep understanding of the specific industry or vertical market, including key players and trends.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant B2B technology marketing experience, primarily in telecommunication or technology.
