About the position
The position involves providing in-home care for a female client suffering from vertigo. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, companionship, and light housekeeping, ensuring the client's comfort and safety during scheduled hours.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering, grooming, and light housekeeping.
- Providing companionship and conversation to the client.
- Preparing meals and reminding the client to take medications.
- Assisting with personal care including dressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Helping with morning or night routines and ambulation.
- Transporting the client to and from doctor's appointments.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in home care or long-term care.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
