The Vet Assistant position at Bridge Port Vet Clinic is an entry-level role focused on providing support to veterinarians and staff in a fast-paced environment. The role involves direct interaction with animals and clients, requiring flexibility in hours and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Vet and other staff members in holding, restraining, and treating animals.
• Prepare medications and foods for clients to take home.
• Answer phones and make appointments for clients.
• Check clients in and out and manage filing tasks.
• Perform cleaning duties at night, including sweeping, mopping, garbage pick-up, cleaning kennels, and doing laundry.

Requirements

• Experience with animals is required.
• Ability to work 30-40 hours a week, with flexible hours.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
