Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care and support to animals under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
- Assist in various veterinary procedures including administering medications and conducting laboratory tests.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive healthcare measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Requirements
- Valid Veterinary License.
- Experience in anesthesia monitoring, dental cleaning, animal restraint, venipuncture, and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to use radiology equipment and place IV catheters.
- Strong client relations and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in veterinary practices or clinics.
- Spanish language skills.
