Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high-quality, efficient, and effective medical team.
  • Foster an environment of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Work with the Hospital Manager and report directly to the Regional Manager.
  • Provide feedback to Medical staff on production performance and coach for improvement.
  • Participate in marketing efforts and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Resolve client issues when necessary and evaluate new product information.
  • Monitor protocols for the daily running of the hospital from intake to discharge.
  • Participate in assistant and technician reviews and maintain availability to answer questions regarding all aspects of the hospital.

Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
  • Experience in a veterinary practice, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and foster a positive work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with integrative medicine practices such as acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
  • Previous experience in a full-service animal hospital setting.
