About the position

The position is for a veterinarian at a walk-in clinic in Rockville, MD, offering a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week. The clinic focuses on providing high-quality, affordable veterinary care, emphasizing wellness services and the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. The veterinarian will work closely with a small team and will not have on-call or after-hours responsibilities, allowing for a more focused and less stressful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care, diagnose and treat minor illnesses/injuries, and manage chronic medical conditions.
• Educate clients and develop strong client relationships.
• Work with a team of 2-3 veterinary assistants to support throughout the day.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent).
• 1 year of experience is preferred but not required.
