About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at a newly opened GP and Urgent Care facility in Imperial Beach. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to pets, maintain medical records, and lead the medical support staff while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to pets.
- Maintain medical records and manage surgical and medical case load.
- Lead and mentor the medical support staff.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners and provide compassionate care.
Requirements
- Strong medicine and surgical skills preferred.
- Ability to handle a high surgical load and willingness to teach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in veterinary medicine.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ultrasound, dental radiography, and in-house lab work.
- Familiarity with therapeutic laser treatments.
