Responsibilities

  • Leading scheduled appointments and surgical intakes with clients
  • Helping doctors with educating clients through medical plans and treatments
  • Care of assigned hospitalized patients
  • Exhibits knowledge of medications, foods, and products within the hospital
  • Anesthesia monitoring (along with blood draws, IV cath placement, etc.)
  • Assistance with surgical procedures
  • Dental prophy procedures
  • Communication with office staff and client/patient relations
  • Supporting a positive work environment

Requirements

  • Veterinary Assistant Certification preferred
  • Two years of work experience preferred
  • Applicants with work experience, but that have not completed educational requirements will be considered on an individual basis.
