Grace Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team in Lexington, SC. Responsibilities
- Leading scheduled appointments and surgical intakes with clients
- Helping doctors with educating clients through medical plans and treatments
- Care of assigned hospitalized patients
- Exhibits knowledge of medications, foods, and products within the hospital
- Anesthesia monitoring (along with blood draws, IV cath placement, etc.)
- Assistance with surgical procedures
- Dental prophy procedures
- Communication with office staff and client/patient relations
- Supporting a positive work environment
Requirements
- Veterinary Assistant Certification preferred
- Two years of work experience preferred
- Applicants with work experience, but that have not completed educational requirements will be considered on an individual basis.
